Nobody … and I literally mean nobody at all “hates the ideas or beliefs”. Almost everybody would take a “live and let live” attitude and are not bothered.

The one divisive issue is when the religious cross the line and attempt to impose their irrational beliefs upon everybody else.

This is especially problematic when it consists of homophobia, misogyny, and a very toxic intolerance of anybody and everybody who does not believe what they believe.

To put that in very simple terms … intolerance of intolerance is not hate, but instead is the high moral ground.
